to Get the Most Out of Your Chrono-Energy Type

1. Have a solid morning routine

As the ‘early bird’ under the Chrono-Energy Types who also usually sleeps the least hours of them all, it is important to set yourself & your energy up for the day.

A solid morning routine has a few different components that are best to integrate. These depend on what outcome you want to achieve after your morning routine, for example, whether you want to feel more energized, more focused, or have a calmer mind.

2. Rest

Since your sleeping hours may not be the most at night and your start is early do not forget to take breaks and rest. Especially right after lunch, when your energy levels are the lowest or may even dip, give yourself a break. This can look like a nap, reading a book, listening to a podcast, or simply just: be. Yes, doing nothing for a bit is absolutely something we can “do”.

3. Use your High Energy Times

You got high energy at certain times a day and want to use them wisely. Even though you may be used to working out or doing mundane tasks at these times: switch it up. Make sure you use these very high energy levels for your most important tasks only! The ones that make you money & give you time back.

Let Me Introduce Myself…

Since getting my graduate degree in Process, Project & Events Management I have always found that there’s something missing. It always felt like I was in a loop of Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better Faster, Stronger” (bless ’em). There wasn’t a less hustling approach for being efficient, high performing, and high achieving – it always seemed to be that “one way”.

Well, I certainly identified as a high performer – and then I died. I suffered from a cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 25 seconds – at age 19!

I started work early and had up to 3 jobs besides high school and later on at university. The end of that road was this: a cardiac arrest. Ever since I have studied more, worked in high-demanding, high achieving jobs (eg. with Siemens Enterprise Networks & Apple), agencies and international industries, gained a lot of experience in many different countries – and with each year I was more convinced: There must be another way.

So I created one: Holistic High Performance. 🙌
