Congrats, friend!

– by completing this quiz, you’ve just figured out your most likely Chrono-Energy Type.

As busy entrepreneurs, it is absolutely important to be able to manage our energy efficiency so that we can get the most out of our time. And sometimes that means to take it easy. My company’s motto for my clients as well as for anything I do myself is: ‘Slow down to speed up’

What happens if we mix up our energy levels and task categories that are most suitable for those times? The quality will decrease, more mistakes will be made, and it will overall take much longer for you to get the tasks done.

When our brain gets tired, it looks for distractions more often than it does when our ‘batteries’ are fully charged & our brain mass is not overloaded.

So what can we do to keep our ‘battery’ charged for as long as possible?

– by completing this quiz, you’ve just figured out your most likely Chrono-Energy Type.

The Night Owl wakes up when the sun cranks up for its mid-morning power. Music is what will wake the Night Owl up and help energize you in the morning.

Before there’s anything else, showering & getting ready will help you get a clear mind and all the energy you need for the day.

The Night Owl is the only one that sleeps through daylight more than any of the other Chrono-Energy Types.

3 Tips for You

to Get the Most Out of Your Chrono-Energy Type

1. Get as much sleep in between 00:00 – 4:00 am as possible

As the literal ‘night owl’ under the 4 different Chrono-Energy types, it is important for you to get as much sleep between midnight to 4 am as possible. Why? These are (in average) the darkest hours of the night in any place of the world (again, on average) and your body needs the deep rest in darkness to produce valuable & necessary neurotransmitters.

2. Energy Ritual

As your morning starts quite late, you do want to find a way how to best groove into your energy. Music works amazingly well, but some music can actually hinder our brain from feeling energized and building new pathways. Many studies have shown that there are stark differences between the chemical reactions of our brain to eg. classical music vs. heavy metal or country music. Now I am not here to tell you to listen to classical music in the morning unless you love it. But, choose your music wisely. Lyrics are just as important as melody & frequency. Upbeat, positive, and/or calm is what you want to start the day with.

3. Reduce use of blue-light after darkness

Since you do love working in the evenings or even late at night it is super important to help your eyes and brain to stay healthy. Blue light is toxic for both of them, so you do want to reduce the use of blue light (any artificial light) as much as possible.

If you work on a computer, use apps like f.lux to dim blue light automatically. You can switch light bulbs in your office to daylight light bulbs or use non-blue light lightbulbs (which usually are much more yellow in color). Another option is to use anti-blue-light glasses.

Make sure to get off of ALL devices at least 1 hour before you sleep (best is 2) to give your eyes and brain enough time to wind down before you go to sleep.

But…Who am I

to Fill You in on All Things Holistic High Performance & Lifestyle Design?

Let Me Introduce Myself…

Since getting my graduate degree in Process, Project & Events Management I have always found that there’s something missing. It always felt like I was in a loop of Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better Faster, Stronger” (bless ’em). There wasn’t a less hustling approach for being efficient, high performing, and high achieving – it always seemed to be that “one way”.

Well, I certainly identified as a high performer – and then I died. I suffered from a cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 25 seconds – at age 19!

I started work early and had up to 3 jobs besides high school and later on at university. The end of that road was this: a cardiac arrest. Ever since I have studied more, worked in high-demanding, high achieving jobs (eg. with Siemens Enterprise Networks & Apple), agencies and international industries, gained a lot of experience in many different countries – and with each year I was more convinced: There must be another way.

So I created one: Holistic High Performance. 🙌
